The Third Generation at Watermark Farm

Each of our foundation mares has left her genetic legacy with wonderful sons and daughters. Many of these young horses went on to acheive exceptional results in both breeding and sport. The best of their offspring were retained by Watermark Farm for both competition and breeding purposes. With the advent of freezing semen and harvesting embryos for future use, we are more open to selling some of our best breeding stock. If there is a particular horse that catches your eye, please inquire as we can make arrangements for you to acquire the best of the best of our stock. Custom foals can also be arranged. A New Infusion of Blood

As with any breeding program, it is necessary to add outside bloodlines and strengthen the gene pool with diversity.

Abracadabra WF	Achtung Again WF	Wallstreet Rose WF
Abracadabra WF had a successful performance career prior to joining the broodmare band in her mid-teens.	Teasing Shadow was a purchased Thoroughbred mare that had been bred by an extremely successful steeplechase trainer. She was a homebred out of his finest mareline and a lucky acquisition for the farm. Her daughter Achtung Again WF was a fine competition horse before joining the broodmare herd in her teens.	Wallstreet Rose WF brought a valuable influx of outside Hanoverian blood (Warkant/Eiger I) balanced carefully over a sportbred Thoroughbred mareline into the breeding program. We have great hopes of retaining a son or daughter for the future.

Aly Alice had foals by all of our stallions in residence during her tenure here at Watermark Farm.	Volante was one of the first frozen semen foals born here in the United States. Her sire Volturno was an internationally successful event horse with Olympic medals to his credit.

Amelia WF has been a valuable addition to the breeding program with her outstanding offspring. Technically speaking, she is a third generation broodmare as she is by Again and Again, however we have organized these pages with a focus on the marelines, so for clarity, we have placed her below her dam Aly Alice.	Volante's Adamant daughter As You Wish WF had a filly prior to embarking on a successful eventing career.
