The Mare

Spooky was a kind mare who was a bit shy with new people. She was very tolerant and kind to work around in the stable and a devoted mother to her offspring. Her sweet nature made her a favorite of both Rawle girls as she was patient with their youthful antics.

Much like Today I'm Trying, Spooky was a long framed mare with a long canter stride. Her trot had excellent engagement and power from behind.

Both of her stallion sons were licensed for breeding in North America. Dekorum received a Canadian Warmblood approval, while Adamant was approved by the AWR.

Her genetics continue onward in our program through breeding her son Adamant toToday I'm Trying's daughter Dynasty WF. Those breedings produced Atreo WF (1996), All I Want (1997), Avebury WF (2001) and Alexis Carrington WF (2004). Adamant also has a daughter out of our Volturno mare, Volante, As You Wish WF who is currently eventing with excellent results. As You Wish had a lovely filly with Wilona WF (2006 by Waldaire) prior to beginning her undersaddle career.
