Ryan Wood Clinics | |
Clinic Information On a monthly basis throughout the year, Watermark Farm is pleased to be the host of several jumping clinics for all levels of riders and their horses with the successful 4* event rider Ryan Wood. For more information on Ryan's teaching philosophy & riding history, please take a moment and peruse his website. His teaching style encourages the horse and rider to build a forward and harmonious partnership and increase the complexity of the gymnastic exercises during the course of a lesson emphasizing straightness, rider independence and balance. During the winter months we will utilize the indoor and outdoor arenas (weather permitting). With the advance of warmer weather the cross country field will be put to use as well. As Ryan travels with Phillip Dutton's Red Oak Farm in Aiken, South Carolina for the winter, he will be largely unavailable during February and March of 2011. The dates for May, June and July will be added to the Calendar shortly. Ryan's spring, summer and fall 2010 clinics will be held during the week as he is away from the area competing most weekends. To sign up for the next available clinic, please download the Waiver and Clinic Form , fill them out and send them to Ellie. Our May & June 2010 dates are pending! Fee/Clinic Information: Group lesson fee/Semi-Private lesson fee - $70 per horse/rider Group lessons can be up to 6 horses/riders and will run for approximately an hour and a half at that size. Semi-Private lessons are for 2 horses/riders and will be one hour. Private lessons are for a single horse and rider combination and one hour. Auditors are more than welcome as this is a great opportunity to learn more about Ryan's teaching style and philosophy. Please bring a chair as current seating is limited and dress according to the weather conditions. Please make all checks payable to Watermark Farm. Payment is due prior to departure. Please bring a current Coggins. The Preliminary Time Schedule will be posted 7 days prior to the clinic date. If there is additional interest, some of the Semi-Privates can be made into Group lessons. Parking will be on the street for trailers. Auditors are welcome (please bring a chair). Food & restroom on premises...aka the green house. Final times will be posted here 4 days prior to the clinic date. Additional Questions | |
