Wilson carries on the naming theme for his dam Sabrina. She was named after Sabrina from the Broadway play, and her foals are named for celebrities and/or famous personalities. Wilson is one of the prettiest foals we have ever bred. His sculpted features retain plenty of masculinity but are quite pleasing to the eye. Add in his dark bay coat and he is a dream gelding for the future.

Like our other Waldaire offspring, Wilson shows dual talent for both FEI dressage and jumping. He is one of the more powerful movers that we have bred, so he is well suited for any discipline.

At his foal inspection, Wilson was quite a star and earned a Premier Award with an overall score of 8.2! He is a lovely example of a Waldaire foal and should mature to a substantial 16.1-16.2 hands. He is cooperative to handle, trim and work around. His future is very bright as a future competition partner!

October 2014 Update –
Wilson is a dream undersaddle! Extremely calm and mellow as a riding horse – he’s a show hunter’s ideal ride. Very good knees in the chute and with a few inches of growth to come, he’ll be a looker in the spring!
For the Wilona WF fans out there – this fellow is more laid back, a bit taller and fancier in a brown wrapper! Wilson is very fun to work with but should sparkle as an exciting prospect for whomever advances his education.

Wilson is making very good progress undersaddle! Schooling courses with a variety of material, good instinctive, clean flying changes. His lateral work is progressing nicely and he would be well suited to an AA who has a trainer who is comfortable instilling confidence in their proteges`. Light to the leg, seat and hand, he has been brought along carefully with riders with good seats, so he is well suited for whichever discipline his rider chooses. (11/15 update)

March 2016 update- Wilson is in full training and schooling Third Level dressage. His flying changes are very straightforward and easy. His lateral work is improving and we are planning on going to several schooling shows this spring. He is a joy to ride each day and very, very uncomplicated.

Wilson has sold! Congratulations to his connections!! Best of luck in the show ring in 2017!
